How to Request a Correction
Please send the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, your supporting evidence and any relevant source material to uknewsagency24x7@gmail.com.
How We Review Requests
Our editorial team reviews the original reporting, checks reliable source material and, where appropriate, contacts the writer or relevant parties. A correction request does not automatically mean that a story will be changed; revisions are made when the available evidence supports them.
Types of Changes
- Minor edit: spelling, grammar, formatting or another change that does not alter the meaning of the story.
- Update: new verified information added to a developing story.
- Correction: a material factual error is amended. Significant corrections should be disclosed in the article.
- Clarification: wording is revised where the original text was factually supportable but could reasonably mislead or lacked important context.
Article Timestamps
Where our publishing system supports it, articles display the original publication date and a genuine modified date when substantive changes are made. We do not change dates merely to make old content appear new.
Removal Requests
We generally prefer correction or clarification over deletion. Removal may be considered where there is a compelling legal, safety, privacy or accuracy reason.
